Why We Built This: Fighting the “Free Trial” Trap

In 2024, we noticed a disturbing trend. People were creating "free" QR codes for wedding invitations, business cards, and restaurant menus — only to find the codes broken 14 days later, unless they paid a monthly subscription.

Dynamic QR code services deliberately made static codes feel inferior. But the truth is: for the vast majority of use cases, a permanent static QR code is exactly what you need. It never expires. It doesn't require an account. And it belongs to you, not them.

We built QuickQRC to be the antidote — a tool that generates Static, Permanent, ISO/IEC 18004-Compliant codes that are yours to keep, free forever, with zero strings attached. If you later need a code you can edit after printing, the optional Pro plan adds dynamic codes; nothing on the free side is taken away to push you there. Read the full case for static QR codes →

What We Stand On

Three commitments, checked and itemized — not marketing copy.

QuickQRC
Design Principles · No. 0002
Privacy by Architecture Guaranteed
The static generator is JavaScript that runs entirely in your browser. Your WiFi passwords, URLs, contact details — none of it is ever transmitted to our servers. This is not a policy promise; it's a technical guarantee.
ISO/IEC 18004 Compliant Verified
We follow strict international QR code standards. Our codes work reliably on iOS, Android, and dedicated industrial scanners. No proprietary "walled garden" formats — just standard, universally-readable QR codes.
Education First Included
We don't just make tools — we educate. Our QR Safety Guide helps users recognise and avoid "Quishing" scams (QR code phishing attacks), one of the fastest-growing cyber threats of 2024–2025.

Editorial Policy

How the guides in the Knowledge Hub and the text on our tool pages are written and kept accurate.

Who writes it One named author
Cornelious Fazal writes and maintains the guides. Each guide shows its author and publish date, plus an updated date when it has been revised.
Sources Primary only
Statistics, standards and platform limits are checked against a primary source, such as the ISO/IEC 18004 standard or the platform's own documentation. A figure we can't source is left out rather than estimated.
Tool descriptions Checked
What a page says a tool does is checked against how the tool behaves. Generation happens in your browser, and the pages say which features send data to a server.
Updates Re-reviewed
Guides are re-reviewed periodically. An updated date is added or changed when the content changes.
Corrections Welcome
If you find something wrong, tell us. We fix confirmed errors and update the date.
What this content is not Not advice
QR code guides cover how the technology works. They aren't financial, legal or security advice, including for payment and crypto QR codes.
